Intemission: The Happenings

Global: The Eclipse

As everyone was alive the Eclipse still was there, hanging over the world like it was in the last moments of Advent. Everyone seemed to be ignoring it at first, however there were a few of the heroes that have bothered to look into the case of the Eclipse. However as much as it may have seemed good, they did not have a lead from where to start. A mysterious boy named Cryst hinted to them that they had to go to Yuno, disappearing right after that. Not really sure what to think of the boy himself the gave thought to his words; he was after all right, as Yuno was the fountain of Knowledge and if they could find anything to get rid of it, it was only there.

However most have lacked the motive of actually shifting the moon off the sun, seeing no point in doing so. As time strolled by, the whole world started to have negative effects because of lack of light; all plant life and global livestock was dying slowly and even the Yggdrasil Tree itself. Also there was a particular human woman from the batch of heroes called Aurikyo Nekura that was de-motivated at first due to the sacrifical death of her friend, however she encountered a Bastet called Baast Ankhston and became quite close friends. Upon getting to know each other better, Baast lit Aurikyo's candle of hope as she assumed that the Eclipse could leave to the revival of possibly both heroes Davven and Adrianne.

With such, Aurikyo pulled up posters in order to gahter a group for Yuno and so, the group finally managed to find a reason to remove the Eclipse.

When they arrived to the Academy of Sages, Moonstone was in her office when she heard the riot of a group entering the complex. She went out to see who it was and sees the heroes waiting at the entrance for an audience for any researcher, amongst them a familiar person to her named Sorrow. Upon learning their intentions, Moonstone revealed that they needed a werewolf in order to finish their research to its peak and revealing the werewolves' tribe location; east of Thor Volcano and talk to a werewolf named Zuorka, one fo the few seers of the tribe. The heroes agreed to help and warped to Veins, walking all their way only to find a sour welcome from the hoard of werewolves. Fighting their way to Zuorka, they finally managed to find him and talked their way into knowing a piece of legend that nobody heard before:

"It is said that there once a statue that of a Valkyrie and a dark creature engaging in battle, one holding a sword and the other holding a shield. Neither anyone really knows the artist made this masterpiece nor did anyone know when it was made, yet it was remembered to be present since the dawn of the world. It remained dormant until trouble stirred in the world; in the town called Shyden, a soul of each gender emerged a proven themselves worthy to fight the prime evil of Advent...and the statue came to life, one passing on its sword to the man and the other passing on its shield to the woman. The two souls fought with the evil known as the Banned God and won in exchange for their own lives, however they have emerged from Death due to the power of their weapons, due to nature giving them the reward of casting life upon their bodies and due to their will to live. Forever to be know as the bearers and protectors against the prime evil that ever existed on Advent, they were the only ones that tolerated the curse of the malevolent God.
And the curse thawed off the earth, the night in the skies was undone, as the world returned to its cycle of Nature once more."

It turned out that Baast's assumption was right after all; the heroes understood right off the bat who the people of the legend were and they were hinted to ask Moonstone about the Heart of Ymir. Zuorka left them be and everyone traveled back to Yuno, where they told everything to Moonstone. She finished her reseach and revealed that they will need the following things in order to restore the eclipse:

* The weapons (The sword and the shield)
* The souls of Davven and Adrianne

With that, the heroes started their search in order to get the two of them back to life. Moonstone hinted to them that they should visit either a necromancer, a shaman or a soul linker in order to contact their spirits...

Shield and Sword

The Shield
Few of the heroes went to Nifleheim in order to talk to Alisha, revealing to them that they will need to fetch her something that belonged to each person. Doubting what they could do in order to contact any one of them for a while, Doherty revealed that he owns the shield. Asking him how he is in possession of such a weapon he revealed that he was Adrianne's husband, leading a few people away from Nifleheim and to his house. They picked up the weapon and took it straight to Alisha; the succubus successfully summoned the soul and talked their way with her in order to be willing to live once more. Having accomplished their work smoothly, they then brainstormed on what could Davven have owned as his.

The next day Aurikyo appeared with Davven's gun equipments and went up to Alisha with a friend of hers, passing them on to Alisha in order to summon Davven. Having him successfully warped in the area Aurikyo asked Davven where did he put his sword and to their disbelief, he revealed that he traded the sword long ago for a packet of cigarettes. However he left a hint to go and ask Varasha herself as she seemed to know where eveything is.

The Sword
Forced to talk to Varasha again Aurikyo pulled up posters once more in order to search for the sword. On the day they had to gather, Lukiv stopped the batch of people that gathered by knocking the warper unconcious. Using branches, he made their life difficult by beting thei summoned monsters to a pulp. After doing so he engaged himself into a battle with Aurikyo for a short time while in the menatime Baast called the guards to capture him and throw him in jail. Being jailed successfully, one of the group memebers opened a portal to Prontera quickly. After such they warped their way to Umbala and walked to the Yggdrasil roots where they found Varasha the first time, only to find her dead at the hand of a girl called Madison. She fled after a short interuption by the heroes and followed her all the way to Nifleheim, finding her holed up on a small cliff in the town of the dead. She revealed the location and person as to where is the sword before she got killed by the bloodthirsty Lord of Death, fighting him off and warping themselves to South of Morroc to search for a boy named Bell Bree.

Once they arrived to Morroc they hurried to go to south and foudn the boy by the pool of water, asking him for the sword. However as he asked for how much they would buy it for, Jack-O appeared and stabbed the boy to death, leaving him dying on the floor as the heroes tried to assault him and take the sword. In the meantime, Sorrow bit Bell and turned him into a vampire not to rot and die and as the boy recovered fast (unknowingly of his new condition) he ran in the middle of the fight and stole back the sword from Jack-O, who was at that time thrown off guard by the rest of the enraged heroes.

After that they warped off the boy quickly back to Prontera; some wapred off with him and some kept Jack-O busy. They treid to convince him to give them their sword, however as soon as Sorrow revealed what Bell has now become, the boy thre himself in a fit of crying and tossed the sword at them and ran out of the city. Sorrow ran after him as AUrikyo recovered the sword, fianlly getting their hands on the prize.


Let the sun shine once more

A few days later everyone gathered once more in Shyden local park, making their way to Yuno in order to turn in the weapons. However upon their arrival at the academy, Moonstone turned down the weapons politely as she reminded them they had to deliver the weapons AND the souls along with them. She also suggested to capture the souls in the weapon themselves. The heroes agreed onto such and so they made their way to Nifleheim once more. Since Alisha was absent, Sorrow seized such an opportunity to try and channel teh souls into the weapons, however this resulted into spawning some monsters onto the spot. After some tries they managed to capture the souls in the weapons and once again made their way to the Academy.

Moonstone took the weapons from them and passed one to an academy professor named Trovent, leading him along with her to the Heart of Ymir while the rest waited at the entrance. They did a good job in bringing them back to life, trasporting both the bodies in a speed of two lines of light from the heart to the middle of the square. Moonstone sent Trovent to take the heroes to the square where there was a huge runic circle, where Davven and Adrianne were found alive upon arrival.

As the heroes made their way to the now alive people, the moon quickly shifted off from the sun...
"...the night in the skies were undone, as the world returned to its cycle of Nature once more."

A few months ago when the world has fallen once again in peace, a new menace started to grow in the heart of Niflheim. Driven mad, Alisha Tufur was stuck in her house and seeing hallucinations and having taunts from a mirror that was as old as herself. A magical mirror; one that had her other persona sealed for more than 2500 years, an old Countess that wanted nothing but to regain her former glory.

After weeks of getting the tauntings, Alisha faced the mirror in order to face her former self and was tricked into stumbling in her own anger by casting a blow of magic upon the hideous figure of her past. This backfired onto Alisha and, within seconds, they swapped places. Alisha was trapped in the mirror and laying dormant while her other self, who was afterwards recognized as "Amdis", started to craete havoc to her closest of friends in order to find leads on where to start to gain her throne once more.

This has put not only her circle of friends in doubt and trouble, but also the adventurers that met in Shyden. As Amdis broke loose and caused mayhem in different areas, the heroes started to find means and ways to gain back their Niflheim Mayor back from her deep sleep. They have encountered different obstacles however; Alisha's house was burned down, the mirror got shattered and Amdis toyed around them to keep them at bay as much as she could. However they managed to drive her out and the players started to think what could they do to restore the mirror in order to attempt in pulling out Alisha once more.


In the meantime, Amdis kept visiting Shyden and taunting the adventurers without breaking the Law, playing the dirty trick with the regulations as they could not stand her one bit. She fought when they only provoked her and, most of them, where done in her Throne Chambers that nobody really know where or how were they were.

Upon researching, heroes found a different result of how they can pull out the Mayor. Taking the largest piece of the mirror and developing a spell thanks to the mages that hung around with them, they waited for a good moment to ensnare Amdis in the city. Such a time came and, when it did, they used Amdis' own magic onto the mirror in order to pull Alisha out. However due to the different construction of the magical formula Alisha and Amdis were now different entities, like identical twins with different magical capabilities.

Upon such, Amdis was terribly horrified and fled Shyden as fast as she could as she was rendered powerless, going in hiding for a month or so. however her attacks did not stop there; it was not long when the heroes heard that Amdis has struck Geffen and successfully taken it under her hands with the help of other villains allying with her. Thanks to such, Amdis was not only one step forward in taking her old City back under her rule but she was also the new Guardian of the Elemental Gem, one that boosted her elemental magics greatly.

The heroes didn't seem to have the heart or courage to face her once more and left her be in her city...
